How credits work
- 01Each DraftSI step uses credits. How many depends on the work and the speed you pick: Quick, Standard or Thorough.
- 02Held, then settled. Before a step we set aside enough credits to cover it and charge only what it used.
- 03Stopping a step still costs the work done. If you stop a step or close TellMeCAD while it runs, you pay for the model's work until then.
- 04A daily limit protects you. An account can use up to about 2,000 [TBC] credits a day and run only a few steps at once.
- 05Your balance is always visible. Options ▸ Account in the app shows your balance and recent use.

Free starter credits
New accounts can ask for 200 [TBC] free credits to try DraftSI. We approve them by hand, usually within [DECIDE: approval time]. An account gets them once at most, and we may decline them or change the amount. While you wait, you can still buy credits.
Payments and refunds
Packs are sold through Creem, which processes the payment as merchant of record; its terms for buyers apply to the payment itself. Unused packs can be refunded under our refund policy. Credits have no cash value and cannot be moved between accounts.

Do I need credits to use TellMeCAD?
No. The editor is free and works without an account. Credits are only used by DraftSI, the AI assistant in TellMeCAD, and only when you turn it on and ask it to do something.
Why credits instead of a subscription?
DraftSI runs on a paid AI service, so each step has a real cost. Prepaid credits mean you pay for what you use, nothing renews behind your back, and the credits never expire.
What happens if I run out mid-task?
Before each step DraftSI sets aside enough credits to cover it. If your balance is too low, it asks you to pick a quicker speed, start a new conversation or buy credits. Nothing is lost from your drawing.
Can I get a refund?
Unused packs can be refunded within the window in our refund policy. Refunds go back through Creem to the card or account you paid with.
